Meet Our Team

Dr. Davis is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced general small animal medicine and surgery and emergency medicine in the Metro East since he graduated in 1992.

Dr. Karin Crocker is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include neurology and gastroenterology. Dr. Davis and Dr. Crocker founded Davis Pet Hospital in September 2012.

Dr. Edwina Schmitz is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Davis Pet Hospital team in 2016. Previously she worked in Indiana and Nebraska and is excited to be back in her home state of Illinois.

After attaining a Master's degree in Physiology from the SIU-C School of Medicine, Dr. Ring enrolled in The University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine and gained his DVM degree in 1984. After a few years in large animal medicine, he settled in the St.

Katie G. has been working in the veterinary field since 2004 and is currently the office manager at Davis Pet Hospital. Her Family has a rescue beagle named Jas, a Sheltie named Duncan, a Wolfhound named Walt, Barney the cat, and two sons.

Kelly is a graduate of both University of Illinois in animal science and Purdue University in veterinary technology. Kelly began her career as a licensed veterinary technician in 2005 and has experience in emergency, specialty and general practice medicine.

Rachel H. is a recent graduate of Vatterot College and is now a certified veterinary technician who joined us in 2018. She enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. She has a cat named Nova.

Dustin R. has worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2011 after graduating from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College in St. Louis, MO. Dustin and his wife, Ashley, live in Illinois with their three dogs and two cats, all rescues.

Kay is a certified Veterinary Technician who joined Davis Pet Hospital in 2018. She graduated from Parkland College in 1997 with an associates degree in science. She is married and has 1 daughter. She has 2 dogs and a rabbit which she rescued.

Chelsea graduated from Hickey College Vet Tech Institute in 2011. She has been in the Veterinary Field for 9 years. She lives in Caseyville with her husband and 2 children. She has 2 dogs named Stormy and Chico and 2 cats named BamBam and Mufasa.

Liz (Woo) joined Davis Pet Hospital in January of 2020. She and her husband have 3 very busy 2-legged creatures, a golden retriever and a bearded dragon. Woo is very energetic and her positivity is contagious. Her motto around the hospital is "yep, yep, yep, yep, yep".
